The presentation of the vehicle took place at the Police headquarters located at Kanda Highway in Accra.
Chief Executive Officer of Kantanka Group of Companies, KwadwoSarfo Jnr., speaking at a short ceremonyto hand over the keys to the vehicle to the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Alhassan, said the vehicle was to assist the police to combat crimes.
He stated that the company will be presenting two additional cars to the Police later to enable them to provide efficient services to the public.
Mr.Sarfo said the vehicle, which took three weeks to assemble, has all the features of a Pick-Up apart from the voice control system.
“It is very robust and economical with a fuel consumption of 2.7 litres. The benefit is that there is no duty components attached to the price,” he said.
He stated that the company will soon launch its fleet of commercial vehicles before the end of the year.
